Good Morning,

First thing we'll share the Early America Travel Brochures.

So after we won independence from the British in 1783 fighting with the British was not entirely finished. In fact we fought what some call our second war of independence in 1812.

Let's read the summary of the War of 1812 wikipedia article using our expository text skills, then we'll make a fun sequence of events graphic organizer to visualize the course of the war.

Next you'll create something small to represent the War of 1812. It could be a design in Minecraft, a drawing, a soldiers journal excerpt, a design of a soldiers uniform, use your talents and strengths. Keep it simple.
